September 2021 stay at Villa Martelina

We are a family of five adults and spent a week at Villa Martelina in September 2021. We met Josko and his daughter Neda who made us feel extremely welcome on arrival with a glass of wine and a thorough tour of the property. The villa is absolutely beautiful and extremely comfortable to stay in. We loved sitting at the outdoor table, enjoying the breeze that flows through the gap and the fabulous view of the sea and the mainland (sunsets are spectacular). We ate out at some lovely local restaurants (Josko arranged for a local taxi driver to pick us up whenever we wanted to go anywhere) but the walk to Splitska is only 5 minutes (easy downhill, harder coming back). The harbour there is gorgeous and we ate in all three of the restaurants as well as shopped in the local supermarket (where there is also an ATM). Highlights were a trip to the beautiful beach at Zlatni Rat where we jet-skied and a full day’s boat trip (organised by Neda) to Hvar and round the island. We would love to return to Villa Martelina and Brac one day!

We are a family of 8 adults and have just returned from a 2 week holiday. We cannot speak highly enough about this villa. We were met and given an extensive tour on our arrival of how things worked etc. If we needed any recommendations for anything the list was endless and if we had any problems they were all ironed out immediately.
The villa and accommodation were breathtaking. The views as you were eating or in the pool were beautiful. Nothing we can say can do this villa justice you need to experience it for yourself.

Beautiful villa & warm hospitality

Nine days at Villa Martelina on stunning Brac Island was as perfect as perfect could be! Josko’s service was IMPECCABLE — attentive without being overbearing or in the way. A warm welcome with even food from a local restaurant organised on arrival. Modern, clean, comfortable villa made so memorable with all the personal touches.

Amazing villa!

Certainly one of the best villas we have ever stayed in. Beautiful throughout. Spotlessly clean - not even one grain of dust. Lovely pool. Very comfortable and well designed. A very warm welcome from wonderful hosts, who could not be more helpful. Absolutely nothing to fault and the villa comes very highly recommended!

Mr Vuic and his wife are welcoming you in their beautiful property and make everything possible to make you feel like at home. The villa is absolutely stunning and have all the facilities you can expect from a 5-star house. The house is set with all the latest technology and equipments and the furnitures are highly qualitative and chosen with a great taste. The villa is enjoying a beautiful view of the village and the sea which can be enjoyed from every location of the house. Jacuzzi and pool are in perfect conditions and managed with the best possible care like all the rest of the property. The house is situated in a walking distance from a preserved bay which is the ideal location for enjoying peaceful moments while looking at a crystalline and turquoise water. A perfect location in one of the most beautiful village of Brac island.

Best villa we’ve ever stayed at!

Our family takes a trip once a year and stays in a villa somewhere in the world. We have stayed in 11 villas thus far. This by far was the most beautiful view we have ever had. It is the first villa that we have stayed in where the photos actually are less impressive than when you get to the villa. The centralized table outside between the two sections of the villa creates a centralized. Location for all family and friends to gather, while allowing for A nice breeze to enter this section. The pool and hot tub are great temperatures and overlook the Adriatic Sea, without obstruction by any houses or wild life. Close to the cute town of Splitska and also the larger more populated town is Supetar. The owner and his family came and checked in on us every day and could not have been better hosts. They set up excursions, provided whatever we needed, and cleaned the villa when they came. They are the kindest, most devoted owners we have ever dealt with. Highly recommend this villa! Best we’ve ever experienced.

Huge thanks to the perfect hosts- who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Villa Martelina is a beauty and felt like home during our time there! It was lovely to relax in the hammocks by the pool during the heat day. Nothing but good to say about Martelina! Hopefully we will be returning one day.
